Federal Skilled Worker: 67-Point Selection Grid

Understand the FSW selection-factor pass mark and why it is separate from your Express Entry CRS score.

Information snapshot reviewed August 18, 2026. Time-sensitive rules should be verified against the linked official source.

The 67-point threshold

Federal Skilled Worker applicants are assessed on a 100-point selection-factor grid. The current pass mark is 67 points. The factors include language ability, education, work experience, age, arranged employment and adaptability.

Passing 67 points is only one part of FSW eligibility. Minimum language, qualifying skilled work experience, education/ECA requirements and admissibility still matter.

FSW points ≠ CRS

The 67-point grid determines whether you meet the FSW selection-factor threshold. CRS is the separate 1,200-point ranking system used across eligible Express Entry profiles.
