Business Investor
Canada will assist qualifying small companies and startups in reaching new heights as you work together to strengthen the economy and create jobs for Canadian citizens and permanent residents like yourself.
Entrepreneurship Program (Federal)
Qualifying applicants and their immediate families will be given permanent residency in Canada if they manage and develop or acquire at least 33.33 percent of stock in an eligible Canadian business that produces at least one new employment.
Startup Visa
Entrepreneurs can expand their businesses in Canada with the help of capital and expertise from recognised private sector groups, and earn a Canadian Startup Visa in exchange for helping to grow the economy and create jobs for Canadian citizens and residents. Applicants are not needed to contribute any of their own money to complete the program's qualifying requirements, unlike Immigrant Investor programmes or the Federal Entrepreneur programme. Instead, one or more authorised organisations must provide a minimum venture capital or angel investment.
Quebec Business Program
If you are an experienced businessperson or manager with a basic understanding of the French language, you may be able to acquire a Business Entrepreneur Visa by starting or buying a business in Quebec. For foreign enterprises, the Quebec Entrepreneur Program provides two tracks.
Entrepreneurial Nominee Programs in the Provinces
Applicants can be nominated by certain provinces through the Provincial Nominee Program's entrepreneur stream. If you are interested in settling and running a business in a specific province, you may be nominated for Permanent Residence if you meet the province's qualifying conditions.
