Spousal Open work permit
Foreign nationals who are sponsored by their spouse or common-law partner for permanent residency in Canada may be able to apply for an open work permit. To apply for an open work permit, the foreign national must apply for spousal sponsorship through the inland spousal sponsorship process from within Canada. Applicants should also make certain that they meet all of the program's eligibility requirements.
Documentation in support of a spousal open work permit.
The dependent spouse or common-law partner should include the following information with the application for a spousal open work permit:
For everyone who is married or has a common-law partner: evidence of a connection (for example, marriage certificate, Declaration of common-law relationship)

For the C41 classification:
They satisfies the general qualifying criteria evidence that the principal foreign person has met specific eligibility requirements for their circumstance evidence that the principal foreign national has the ability to work in Canada for 6 months after the date of C41 work permit submission (if applicable). The occupation skill level cannot be established only by the work permit if the principal foreign national is an open work permit holder or entitled to work without a permit under R186 [excluding R186(w)]. As a result, the spousal applicant must also submit the following information:
A letter from the principal foreign national's current employer confirming employment and their occupation with a description of duties or a copy of their employment offer or contract, as well as proof that the principal foreign national is employed in a NOC 0, A, or B occupation at the time of the work permit application until a decision is rendered on the application
If authorities have any doubts about the authenticity of the proof of employment submitted, they should conduct an investigation to ensure that the material information provided is accurate and does not indicate a blatant misrepresentation of circumstances in order to seem suitable for the visa.
